This author is pleased to announce Adam Lockridge as our new guest blogger. For those of you who do not yet know Mr. Lockridge, he is the Headmaster of Mount Tabor School of the Liberal Arts, Kansas City, Missouri. On my personal journey to becoming an Orthodox Christian, I was lucky to encounter Mr. Lockridge At Holy Trinity Orthodox Church. I have been impressed by the depth of his thought and attention to detail when confronting issues that challenge our day to day Christian life. His time is valuable and in high demand so it is a great New Years honor to have his thoughts in a blog contribution to this humble website.

Greetings and Merry Christmas!
If you are old enough to remember The Who’s Tommy, then you will get the reference that the Pro-Life Movement has been on an amazing journey. Like Tommy, our eyes, ears and voice are open and being heard in the media, on the sidewalks and hopefully in the Church pews. Okay, we still haven’t ended Row V. Wade, which will not end abortion, but push the regulation back on the States. But at the end of the day the discussion is in the limelight again, in my opinion more than in 1973! The real light at the end of the tunnel for this author is the trend of young people to be pro-life. Spoiler alert - at the end of Tommy, the crowd says “we’re not going to take it…” I hope one day as Americans we can agree “were not going to take it…” and end abortion forever. Have a great Holiday Season! |
